Eight intrepid Westies took part in the first ever Westie Cross Country event. There were races for all age ranges with different distances for each. The ladies ran 6k with one small lap and 3 larger laps whilst the men did a 4th larger lap to cover nearly 8k. Whilst most of it was on grass there was a small footpath up into the wooded section. It wasn't flat and felt a bit like a tough parkrun. I think we all enjoyed it and look forward to the next one!
