Four intrepid Westies made it to the 2nd race of the Wessex Cross Country League. It is possible we would have a few more but the Stinger, on the same day, started late so they couldn't get to Lytchett in time. The ladies race was 3 laps (6k), watched by the men who started later. They had an extra lap to do (8k). The course took us round one field and then had us zig zagging across a second where the mud zapped all energy (at least in the case of Liz, who very quickly found herself bringing up the rear).
